Starter Guide (version 2 draft)

Bethlehem Starter Guide

Quest: Defeat Nex

Defeat Nex. This whole process should take around 30 minutes.

Nex, Zaros’ most powerful follower, stands as your first challenge as you begin your adventure through Bethlehem. In order to kill him you need to level up your gear, prayer, and combat stats. This guide was written to aid you in that adventure.

The first thing you want to do upon logging in is to go straight to the training ground (type ::train) and kill the dragon “Zirconis”. This should allow you to level up your combat level to Lvl 15, and Lvl 75, which are requirements to open the Bethlehem Box which will give you everything you need for your adventure.

Chrome 0V8n0DecIH

Once you have killed Zirconis a total of 10 times, you can now choose which path you would like to take (Melee, Ranged, or Magic) by using the hotkey CTRL+T or going to the Spellbook Tab and selecting “Monsters Teleport”. You can select which path you want to follow by selecting one of the Low tier monsters on the left, and then clicking the teleport button.

Chrome WQGS7TJ7O8

Requirement: 10 Zirconis Kills

NOTE: It is also highly recommended to save the bones you get and use them on the altar at ::home (You can also click on the Prayer skill to teleport directly there). This is to prepare us for Frost Dragon grind, for which overhead protection prayers are recommended.

Once you move on to the low tier monster of your choice, you will need to kill this monster a total of 10 times as well before moving on to the Mid tier monsters. The monsters in each zone will drop gear to help you progress faster, as well as a Monster Key (click on the key to teleport to the Burnt Chest at home) relevant to your chosen combat type to give you awesome loot to accelerate your progress even faster! The Monster Key also has a rare chance to drop a damage boosting pet in the respective class. The Mid tier monsters can be found on the same teleport interface (CTRL+T).

Chrome PzIhrOZe3f

Requirement: 10 Low Tier Monsters

Once again, you need to kill a total of 10 Mid tier monsters to progress to High tier Monsters.

Chrome 5ZsxeR2qKR

Requirement: 10 Mid Tier Monsters

Once you’ve finished 10 High kills, you’ve completed your first stride towards defeating the boss Nex, however it is strongly recommended to have all drops from the high Tier monster before making your first attempt! Check out the Collection Log (::log) to see how many pieces you have received.

At this stage you should have at LEAST level 43 in Prayer from using the various bones you’ve collected on the altar at home. However, 99 Prayer is required to fight Nex. The best place in the entire game to farm bones for Prayer is in our Super Donator Zone, by killing Frost Dragons. You can obtain a FREE Super Donator Scroll by killing Le’Fosh, and opening the boxes he drops.

Chrome AKTIw3ihdD

Le’Fosh is quite challenging. It is recommended to bring food and to protect against Magic.

Le’Fosh drops the Le’Fosh box.

Chrome FY15Gk17Wg

In this box, you can also obtain the Ring of Wealth, which you can upgrade at the ::upgrade machine at home. It is recommended you level up your Ring of Wealth to Level 3 to maximise drops before you head to Bosses.Click here to learn more about upgrades.

Kill approximately 10  Le’Fosh to obtain enough boxes for a Super Donator Scroll

Once you’ve obtained your Super Donator Scroll, click on it to claim, which will give you the following perks. Click here to learn more about donator perks. Head on over to the Super Donator zone to start killing Frost Dragons for insanely fast prayer experience!

Chrome fggqDiGQkK

Requirement: Super Donator Status

Chrome k5isxr8fUS

You will need to kill approximately 25 Frost Dragons for 25 Frost Dragon Bones, and use them on the altar at home to receive 99 Prayer. Click the Prayer Skill for a quick tele. At this point, you should be ready to face Nex.

Chrome lYzX4MEmC2

Requirement: 1) 99 Prayer 2) 900 Damage in ONE of the three classes (Melee, Range, Magic), you can check your max damage by typing ::maxhit. This is obtainable by collecting all gear from the respective High Tier monster.

To kill Nex, you need to kill its 4 followers in each corner first. Nex will freeze you, so it is recommended to turn on Deflect Magic and to turn on Turmoil. (You can change your prayer book by going to the Chaos Altar at home - click Prayer Skill for quick tele)

Nex drops the Nex Box, which gives you a Bling Chain, and a chance at the Nex Sword (Approximately 1 in 3 chance of getting it, it is highly recommended to farm for the Nex Sword if you are using Melee before progressing to Bosses).

The Bling Chain will be crucial to your ensuing adventure, as it is the best necklace to get until you obtain a necklace that has the collector’s effect.

If you are using Ranged, you can use ::ref guide to obtain a Royal Minigun for the rest of your adventures at Bosses.

VIP Zones and Collector’s Necklace

FREE VIP: To speed up your kills, it is recommended to get yourself a Collector’s necklace. If you lucked out on the Bils Boxes and are extremely wealthy, you can buy one from the POS, but if you would like a free version, you can obtain one by obtaining VIP 1 status. Head your way to the VIP Free Zone (::vip). Teleport Tab -> Donator -> VIP (FREE FARM)

Imagevipfarm

You can also choose to skip this minor grind, and support the server by making a donation of $30 (which will give you this VIP status automatically). Otherwise, you can obtain $1 Scrolls (Glacors) or VIP Scrolls (Achievements), both can be used as currency to access the VIP Free Zone, in which you can farm for the next VIP status. One Scroll is equivalent to one minute at the VIP Free Zone. When you run out of scrolls, you will be removed from the zone.

This area is similar to the Warriors Guild, in that it depletes a VIP Scroll or $1 Scroll every minute for a chance to obtain a VIP1 scroll. VIP1 takes around 20-30 scrolls. After obtaining your VIP1 scroll you can use the command ::claimvip1 which will give you a Bling Chain Upgrade Scroll that you can use on your Bling Chain to turn it into your VIP Amulet!

Slayer

In your journeys, we highly recommend doing slayer at all times when PVMing. We have included a basic Slayer Guide on the next page below to help you on your journey. We highly recommend levelling up your slayer level right away to level 30, and switching your Slayer Master to Duradel (Low/Mid Bosses) and Kuradel (Mid/High Bosses) accordingly as your progress.

The Slayer Helmet offers the highest Drop Rate and Damage Bonus in the game while on-task.

7-Day Login Rewards

Imagevoteloginrewards first week

The 7-Day reward is a system in which you log-on and vote for 7 consecutive days. You must claim your votes for the vote to register in-game. We highly recommend you use your vote points to claim Vote Crystal Keys which are an amazing source of cash all the way up until late game. More on 7-Day Rewards: https://bethlehem317.fandom.com/wiki/Playtime_Rewards

If you miss a date of voting/play-time due to a bug, make sure to contact staff members. They have discretion to waive a day or two, so please be kind to them. You will find that our staff members are super friendly as well. If they are not, you can report them to me (the owner) directly on Discord. My Discord username is Bethsaida. Your report will be kept anonymous.

Tip: If you find yourself needing Super Restores, you will get unlimited Prayer with the Extreme Donator Rank. Which is given for FREE on the 7th Day, along with a $300 Weapon Icy Glaive.

30-Day Rewards

Image30dayloginrewards

In order to effectively participate in global bosses and seasonal events as a new player, you need a worthy mount to ride into battle with. Complete your first 30-Day login, to receive your first mount - Blood Wolf. The Blood Wolf Mount does not take a damage reduction at Global Bosses, but regular equipment does. More on Mounts at wiki: https://bethlehem317.fandom.com/wiki/Mounts?so=search#Blood_Wolf_Mount

Global Bosses are an extremely good source of cash for new players, especially ::Optimus.

Here is a guide for 30-Day Rewards: https://bethlehem317.fandom.com/wiki/Playtime_Rewards#30_Days_Reward

Voting (Money Making Daily)

Voting everyday should yield 20 Vote Points (You can vote every 12 hours), which you can use to redeem 20 Crystal Keys: https://bethlehem317.com/vote/

We highly recommend you redeem for these keys as they average 100K Bil Tickets per key, which translates to about 2Quad (1000K Bil Tickets = 1Quad) per day.

Double Vote Rewards:

Once you progress past the 7-Days Rewards (during which you must use the ::redeem command everyday to qualify for the final 7th Day Reward), you can then save up your vote points for Tuesdays, on which you get DOUBLE the reward. (Example: using ::Redeem 1 on Tuesday would give you 2 Keys instead of 1).

Email Rewards:

If you haven’t already registered your email at (::email), you can do so for exclusive rewards every month, and also a 3rd Day reward worth $75 which includes Void Boxes. The first time you register your account, you will receive 1 x Donator Scroll and 3 Crystal Keys. We promise to NEVER spam you, and to make each announcement worthwhile for you in the form of freebies.

Clue Scrolls (Money Making Active)

Clue Scrolls are items that you receive from fighting monsters throughout the game, they are a great way of making cash as a starter player, and to help you expedite the process of creating the ultimate weapon to fight Shadowlord.

You might have received a Mythical Shard from monsters/bosses by now, these are used to create the ultimate weapon required to fight Shadowlord (More on this Below). Clue Scrolls give 3 shards per scroll. Additional weapons created can be sold to the Ogre Store at 2Q per weapon, which is roughly 500K Bill Tickets per hour when only completing scrolls. A good way to collect scrolls is by using an AOE weapon at Shades. You can create an Omni Staff from the Energy Zone:

Imageenergysemiafk
Imageafkenergy

Talk to the Wizard to buy an Omni-Staff (Should only take 5 minutes to collect the fragments required)

Once you have some Clue Scrolls saved up, you can use the following guide to find the locations.

Clue Scroll Guide

Use POS to obtain a Spade

AFK TREE (Money Making AFK)

Money per Hour initially: 100k B tickets.

The AFK tree is the best passive moneymaker because you're able to leave your account logged in overnight and make money while sleeping.

To access the AFK Tree, you must get 99 Woodcutting and purchase a Balmung Axe from the ::AFK Store. You can level up your woodcutting by clicking on the Woodcutting Skill Icon. You can access the AFK zone by typing ::AFK in-game. You can get better axes as you progress in the game.

Imageaxeshop

Weapon Zone (Fighting Shadowlord)

This is a multi-zone in which you can use your Omni Staff to obliterate your foes and farm for Mythical Shards. Shards drop from the Shades themselves, and Shades are also a good source of Clue Scrolls which also give you shards.

Imageshades aoe

Once you collect 200 Hilt Shards and 200 Edge Shards you can combine them to create a weapon of your choice: Devil May Cry(DMC), Angelic Bow, Elder Wand. One of these three weapons is a requirement for fighting Shadowlord. (Left click with all shards in your inventory)

If you’ve donated for the welcome package, you can also use the Infernal Minigun as well.

Here we’d like to take a second to introduce you to another command:

::DPS

Imagedps

1) Splats Per Hit and 2) Speed are the factors when it comes to DPS.

For example, using the image from above. Normal means 2 Hits per Second.

DPS would then be: 2 (Splats Per Hit) x 2 (Normal Speed) = 4

Normal = 2 Hits per Second

Fast = 3 Hits per Second

Fastest = 6 Hits per Second

Boots/Gloves

Here you can obtain a pair of good boots and gloves for each respective style:

Imagenoobbootsandgloves

These are also requirements to fight the Shadowlord.

Make sure to right-click and examine the NPCs to make sure that you are killing the right one. Berserker = Melee Archer = Range Seers =  Mage Drops are around 1/40 Kills. Free Exploration

After you have defeated Shadowlord, you can begin to explore Bethlehem freely. There is much to learn and explore. You can use the following guide to help guide you along your journeys:
