- When you are wearing Max Gear, your speed is automatically adjusted to that of a normal Melee Weapon (2 hits per second). Exceptions are Masamune/Masamune Off Hand which remain the fastest weapons in game (6hits per second, 4 splats per hit). The only other exceptions are Candy Cane Scythe and Easter Carrot which also maintains a speed of (6hits per second, 2 splats per hit), but is 2-handed.
