We haven't touched St. Patrick's in a long time, and making changes to old content is always hard to get right immediately (I.E. the new monster/boss sequence). Me and Jinx have ran this update by the Staff team, and we've revised it twice before releasing. Nevertheless, there are problems.
It seems like 1) The amount of charms needed per player is too high and 2) There are not enough sufficient ways to obtain charms in-game.
Some people have come to me and said that this update seems like a money-grab. I just wanted to say that it wasn't our intent at all. It's extremely difficult to foresee how an update pans out. I'm not going to argue with people, I'm simply going to take ownership and address these issues head on.
We will address the insufficient amount of charms in-game through the following measures:
1) We will be adding Charms to Drop Parties throughout the month Administrator
2) We will be giving way 5 x Level 1 Charms through #🎁bethlehem-giveaway every 2 days Kostas
3) We will be putting 5 x Level 1 Charms in the POS at 100M each everyday until the end of the month (100 Charms total) Kostas
4) We will be adding Charms to the #🎁donator-giveaway every week
5) We are lowering the rate of Charms in the St. Patrick's Box from 1 in 15, to 1 in 10. (If you purchased St.Patrick boxes in the past year through the store, you can ask an Admin to give you an additional 33% boxes, for example if you purchased 100, you can get 33 extra #📩submit-a-ticket)
Additional Changes: We will be making Charm Bag and Twirly Swirly Tradeable
To address the broader issue of not having ways to obtain Seasonal Items in-game:
1) You can now farm for Charms in game by participating in the St.Patrick's Quest (Golden Clover Pieces can be exchanged for 6 Charms each)
2) NEW SEASONAL ZONE: inspired by 420, we will be adding a way to farm/afk for any Seasonal Box tomorrow. Jinx is working on it as we speak.
